Description
The rigid extreme-grip’ shoulders and wide grooves of the Potenza S001 yield exceptional traction and a great braking performance. The high-angle slants of the lug grooves deflect excess water into the main grooves of the tire, to minimize aquaplaning and aid in wet traction. Skeleton of the tire is made of double steel belts, enclosed in a spiral wrap of aramid. It enhance the quality of the ride by providing excellent cornering abilities and maneuverability. The sidewalls of the tires are fortified by active rubber inserts to increase the tire’s stiffness and reduce the on-road noise.
