Description
The ContiSportContact 5 SUV is built from an advanced rubber blend known as Black Chilli. The short-chain polymers present in the compound produce heat and shorten the braking distance while the long-chain polymers absorb energy to lower the rolling resistance and improve mileage. As an overall effect, the tires stop much faster in response to the applied brakes, stay cooler for a longer period, improving the wear life and the vehicle consumes less fuel. ContiSportContact 5 SUV’s innovative tread pattern consists of macro-block outboard shoulders that enhance the road-tire grip and four circumferential grooves that minimize hydroplaning and aid wet traction. Dual polyamide reinforced steel belts run throughout the interior of the tire, increasing stability and steering.
