Description

The Potenza RE050’s asymmetric tread pattern enhances its traction performance on dry and wet surfaces. A wide center rib, stable shoulders and large tread blocks allow superior steering control and handling on dry roads. Two identical steel belts, fortified by spiral-wrapped nylon improve the stability at high-speed levels. Grooves located on the lateral and circumferential areas of the tire deflect water in contact patch to minimize skidding on wet surfaces. Although the Potenza RE050 is a proven performer on wet roads, it is not suitable to be driven on snow or ice.
